The Daily Battle…

Being a mom is No easy task. Whether you work at home all day with your children or work outside of your home, many of us have the same daily battles. During the day I find myself attempting to be the real estate guru! I spend hours trying to research homes and properties to the point in which I feel I have reached the end of the internet. My phone rings all day and emails are pouring in with people who need personal advice about real estate. I chug along and enjoy each and every minute of it! In the afternoon as I drive to pick Hudson up at school I thought of everything I had accomplished. Whew! I silently gave myself a pat on the back. I slowly start pumping myself for what I call round 3 of my day!

Earlier in the morning Round 1 had taken place starting at 7 am. The opponents were MOM VS Son. My main task was to convince him that the weather had changed and it was now time to wear jeans to school AND it was gym day so no crocs! Tennis shoes are the rule! After a long discussion ( the same discussion we have each day), somehow we both always walk away feeling like we have prevailed! As I unwind tonight and I start to plan tomorrow. As much as look forward to the ring tomorrow, I know the only thing that will be the exact same is the Jean discussion I will have with my son!
