Holiday weekends in Hamilton County’s 8 Great Towns mean inviting shops and holiday home tours along snow-brushed sidewalks.  They mean twinkling lights and Santa sightings, sipping a cup of coffee while overlooking Historic Noblesville Square.  Holiday weekends in the 8 Great Towns mean Christmas celebrations with friends and shopping for family. Below is a guide to some of the festivals this season, pick just one or come to them all – you surely won’t be disappointed!

Country Christmas at Stonycreek Farm November 21 – December 21 – Be a part of a local tradition and take a hayride to the field to choose, and cut, your own Christmas tree. Sip hot cider while you browse through the gift shop featuring custom made wreaths and other unique items.

Fishers Tree Lighting December 3 – Watch as the Fishers Christmas Tree is lit up with beautiful sparkling lights.

Holiday Extravaganza December 3 – Do a little holiday shopping from a wide selection of fine food, wines and gifts at delicious prices, just in time for the holidays.  Stay to sample and save on more than 70 specialty wines and dozens of fine spirits and microbrews from around the world while savoring a sumptuous selection of hors d’ oeuvres.

Holiday Home Tour December 4-5 - Enjoy delicious food from Serendipity Tea Room, followed with a visit to homes from both the 19th century and today – all which are furnished with fine antique collections.

Conner Prairie by Candlelight December 4, 5, 11, 12, 18, 19 – Journey back to Christmas Eve in 1836 for a candlelit stroll through Prairietown.  Watch as the residents prepare for their own holiday, and learn what makes each celebration special and unique.

First Friday’s – Holiday’s in Downtown Noblesville December 4 – Celebrate the season with carolers, roasting chestnuts, shopping, hot cocoa and carriage rides.

Christmas on Main Street December 5 - Spend a day in the quaint downtown of Arcadia and enjoy music, food, arts & crafts – and a visit from Santa!

Town of Cicero Christmas Parade December 5 – Visit the small town of Cicero and see their Christmas parade, be sure to stay until the end and meet Santa.

Carmel Symphony Orchestra presents “Celebrate the Holiday’s” December 12 - Listen as the Carmel Symphony Orchestra brings life to many traditional holiday songs including O Holy Night and Let It Snow.

Second Saturday’s & Holiday in the Arts District December 12 - Spend an entire day celebrating the holiday’s in the Carmel Arts & Design District.  Start with music, art, Santa and promotional sales at local retail shops.  In the evening enjoy a gallery walk, a candlelit walk through the Museum of Miniature Houses, carolers and more.

Holiday on the Prairie at Conner Prairie December 19 – The sights and sounds of holidays past come to life with family activities both indoors and outdoors.  Stroll through a wonderland of remarkable gingerbread creations, visit with a Victorian-era Santa Claus, play with 19th-century toys and explore Discovery Station. Then bundle up and stroll through Prairietown, where residents are preparing for the holidays ahead.

New Year’s Eve at The Mansion at Oak Hill December 31 – Ring in the New Year with hors d’oeuvres, an elegant dinner, dancing and live music.
