Super Bowl Activities!
Looking for something fun to do with the entire family during the Super Bowl? I’m looking forward to taking my family to see just how the Super Bowl Village will transform the heart of Downtown into a ten-day, three-block interactive festival of football. Below are some great ideas to get out and experience Indy during this amazing time for our city.
Here’s a look at some of the exciting features in the Super Bowl Village!
•A four-line Zip Line will run tandem down Capitol Avenue. Take a quick zip in your favorite football jersey for an unforgettable experience! Enjoy the ride for $10.
•Two stages of live concerts featuring more than 80 local, regional, and national bands! Stay tuned to hear who will be playing!
•Tailgate Town is a football fan’s heaven with tailgate competitions and football turf offering interactive game playing!
The Super Bowl Village will lead to the front door of the NFL Experience in the Indiana Convention Center, connecting Georgia Street to Conseco Fieldhouse, a key downtown entertainment venue.
The Super Bowl Village is a FREE, family-friendly fan gathering spot. It will be open from Friday, January 27 through Super Bowl Sunday on February 5. Plan to be there!
Below are some other great activities for you and your family.
- The Taste of the NFL is a strolling food and wine event Feb. 4 that will feature more than 32 restaurant stations, one from each NFL city, with samples for guests. Proceeds will benefit food banks, including Gleaners.
- The NFL Experience theme park tickets will go on sale Dec. 7 through Ticketmaster (ticketmaster.com). The cost is $25 for adults and $20 for children 12 and younger.
- An electronics recycling drive will be at the Indianapolis Zoo from 2 to 7 p.m. Dec. 28.
- A 5K run planned for Jan. 28 will showcase Near-Eastside Legacy projects.

- The 1st & Green environmental program has saved more than 1 million pounds of carbon and more than 1 million gallons of water.
- Volunteer have worked 42,901 hours, on pace for almost 150,000 hours.
- More than 10,600 scarves have been knitted in 40 states and three other countries for Super Bowl volunteers.
- Volunteers have planted 2,623 trees.
